This page explains how SonusLabs LLC collects consent to send SMS/text messages, how verbal consent works, how to opt out, and how your information is used.

What texts we send Transactional Two-way support

We do not send marketing/promotional texts unless you separately opt in to marketing (optional checkbox below).

Verbal SMS Opt-In (Phone Call Consent)

If you provide consent over a phone call, we use the script below. Consent is recorded as a clear yes/no. We do not treat silence or continued conversation as consent.

Verbal consent script (exact language)

Agent/Virtual Assistant reads:

"Before we continue, can we text you updates about your request from SonusLabs LLC?
Message types include appointment reminders, billing/payment notices, verification codes, and support replies.
Message frequency varies (for example, up to 5 messages per week).
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out at any time, and reply HELP for help.
Your consent is not a condition of purchase or service.
Do you agree to receive SMS text messages at this mobile number?"

Acceptable responses: "Yes", "I agree", "Okay", "Sure", or an unambiguous affirmative. If the caller says "No" or anything unclear, we do not opt them in.

Simulated call conversation (example)

Agent: Before we continue, can we text you updates about your request from SonusLabs LLC?
       Message types include appointment reminders, billing/payment notices, verification codes, and support replies.

Confirmation text after verbal opt-in (recommended)

After a caller verbally opts in, we send this confirmation SMS:

SonusLabs LLC: You're opted in to SMS updates. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

How verbal consent is recorded and stored (proof/audit)

  • What we store: phone number (ANI or provided), date/time (UTC), consent result (YES/NO), consent text + version, channel ("verbal"), and program name.
  • Call proof: call/session ID and (if call recording is enabled) a recording reference/ID tied to the consent event.
  • Traceability: agent/flow ID (virtual agent flow name or human agent ID), and source number (our toll-free).
  • Opt-out handling: STOP requests are logged with timestamp and honored immediately.

How we can verify this on request: we can export the opt-in record for a given phone number and provide the related call/session ID and recording reference that contains the opt-in (if recording is enabled).

Example fields: phone, consentTimestamp, consentMethod=verbal, consentText, consentTextVersion, callId, recordingId, sourceTollFree.

Storage systems (example): Consent records are stored in our secure database (e.g., CRM/Firestore/SQL) and linked to the call session. If call recording is enabled, we store only a recording reference/ID (not public) to support audits.

Opt-out + help behavior (exact)

  • STOP keywords: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT
  • STOP confirmation message:
SonusLabs LLC: You are unsubscribed and will receive no further messages.

Proof / audit guidance

Store the opt-in record server-side: phone, timestamp, page URL, consent text, consent version, and (optionally) IP/user agent if permitted by your compliance policy.

We may share information with service providers who help us deliver text messages and operate our systems (for example, SMS and hosting providers). We do not sell your personal information.

No mobile information sharing for marketing: Your mobile number and opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5) Data retention

We retain opt-in/opt-out records and messaging logs as needed for compliance, troubleshooting, and legitimate business purposes. We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed, subject to legal requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
